As a result of misfuelling, the engine could carry on running until you reach a major road or motorway which might, at the very least, result in the car's occupants being stranded by the side of the road.

Engine failure will result in the loss of Power Steering, ABS, Dynamic Stability Control and Drive system.

Should such an accident occur, how would it be viewed by the courts and insurance companies when it might be proven that it was avoidable with this misfuel device fitted?
